YOUTH MINISTRY
Wisdom & Life’s Youth ministry, Youth on Fire (YOF), is for youth and young adults to come and learn the practical application of walking a Godly life; using the WORD of God as the pathway to guide each step. Its objective is to engage youth and young adults in their spiritual journey, their church, their community, while building a support network.
Through our thematic structure, YOF has created a safe environment offering a platform for open discussions about current issues, learn new skills, and opportunities to explore other cultures and schools of thought while keeping Jesus at the centre.
Friday night themes are broken into 4 categories: Bible, Explorations, Real Talk and Connect .

Giving Tuesday 2021 cheque to Montreal Children’s Hospital
Giving Tuesday, an International Day of Charity, is right around the corner! Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 has been dedicated to doing good and giving back in various ways. Youth on Fire's (YOF) desire is to do its part in this GIVING campaign by partnering and supporting Sun Youth.
Sun Youth is a Montreal based community organization, established in 1954, with theobjective of alleviating poverty and preventing exclusion. They provide food assistance, clothing, and medical support to individuals and families in need. Their hands are also extended to helping refugees, those that lost their jobs and assist those that are going through tough times to get back on their feet. Akin to YOF's goal, Sun Youth desires to help young people to become productive and responsible members of society.
It takes a village to raise a child, and to make a vision come alive, but we are firm believers in the power that one willing individual can make... Will you be that one? This year's goal is to raise $3,000, of which 50% will be donated to Sun Youth programs. The remaining funds will go towards YOF's Youth Excellence Fund, a fund created to provide financial backing for youth, supporting them in their journey towards excellence in the areas of athletics, arts and academics.

Explorations
Exploration night is meant teach youth about different cultures, religion, places and nations. At times, we will take a trip to various centres to gain a better understanding of the world around us.

Real Talk
Addressing the question and worries of today’s youth, this theme offers a forum for conversation about issues in a safe, confidential and nonjudgmental space.

CHOSEN is a youth-led Christian band in the city of Montreal. Our mission is to impact people from various walks of life with the transforming power of music.
In a world that has seen unprecedented times, we believe that our unique sound, and original music, will encourage, inspire, and uplift people in our community. CHOSEN has ministered at several schools, homeless shelters, and in other parts of the Greater Montreal area; and, we are confident that the Lord, who has begun a good work in us, will continue to lead us to do His will on earth, one song at a time.
