Content to teach Sunday School and Bible Study on occasion, apostle Henry waited on the Lord, voraciously devouring the Word of God, until the time came when he received the command to go. Subsequently, he has not looked back. His ministry began on the highways and byways of the city of Montreal, and he continues to deliver the inspired Word of the Lord wherever his heavenly Father would have him go.
A school administrator by trade and a former Canadian Football League player, apostle Henry graduated with a degree in Communications from Murray State University in Kentucky/Long Island University, a degree in Theological Studies from Concordia University in Montreal, and a Masters’ Degree in Theological History, also at Concordia. He is currently completing a Masters’ in Educational Leadership at McGill University.
Apostle Henry is responsible for the creation of 'Bountiful Blessings', a charitable incorporated organization whose mandate is to feed the hungry, care for the widows and orphans, and to be the visible hands and feet of Jesus Christ in the Montreal and neighbouring communities. To date, Bountiful Blessings has helped feed well over 1,000 families. The organization continues to grow as it expands its mission to positively impact the world with a practical demonstration of the love of Christ.
A native of Kingston, Jamaica, apostle Henry now calls Montreal home. He is married to First Lady Julie Artuso; together, they have three active children.
“Strive towards the high moral standard of Holiness, without which no man can see God.”
Apostle Andrew S. Henry
Andrew S. Henry is the pastor of the Wisdom & Life Apostolic Church International, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec; and is the General Superintendent of the Wisdom & Life Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, Incorporated. A voice for this generation, he is a young man with an ‘old Spirit’, one bent on delivering the unadulterated word of Jesus Christ to whosoever will receive it. Having traveled with this Gospel throughout Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, thousands of hearts have been stirred and convicted under his anointed preaching and unprecedented gift of teaching as he delivers the Word of God with an authority and a candor rarely seen.
Apostle Henry first heard the Gospel at the tender age of three years old when his mother returned to Kingston, Jamaica after spending two years in Canada. At the age of nine, he surrendered his life and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins. After moving to Montreal, he was spiritually instructed under the ministry of Bishop Z. McKenzie and was profoundly influenced by Bishop Paul Graham. God also blessed him with a divine watcher and mentor in the person of his brother and eternal friend, Pastor Robert Sewell from Mount Zion Apostolic in Perth, Australia.
